The foundation of what would later become the Ventures I model, this is the RS model (often also called the Student Model). RS → “reverse Strat” → the outline of the body was just a Strat template turned upside down. These almost always had one pickup around the middle position.
Set-neck construction with a 24-1/2" scale.
Just over 1-1/2" width at the zero fret.
