Rare and vintage Rickenbackers have been my obsession since 1990, when I bought my first one. My first vintage Rickenbacker followed in 1993. Since then I've owned hundreds of them — each a unique piece of musical history — alongside a lifetime's collection of rare, vintage, and unusual guitars from across various manufactures.
The early internet was a remarkable place for this kind of passion. Forums were full of genuine experts who'd spent decades with these instruments in their hands. You could ask a question and get a real answer. That culture hasn't entirely disappeared, but it's become harder to find beneath the noise.
This site exists to keep that spirit alive. Whether you're a serious Rickenbacker collector, a curious newcomer, or somewhere in between, everything here is built on firsthand experience and a genuine love for these instruments. No filler, no guesswork — just honest knowledge about Rickenbackers and the other guitars worth knowing about.
