On paper, this seemed like a good idea - a modernized pro-level Duo Jet.
Flame maple top, hot pickups, thicker body with body contours, jumbo frets, tune-o-matic bridge - a ‘fancier’ Duo Jet!
The TV Jones-designed pickups have Alnico magnets and are pretty much an aggressive filtertron-plus.
In practice → not a hit, they were made for only 3 years then dropped.
You seldom see them now, but they’re a great guitar!
