A Spectra Sonic Standard in matte black. The Spectra Sonic was original designed by TV Jones and manufactured by Gretch in the USA (made by Hamer) and then made in Japan. After the licensing agreement ended, the Spectra Sonic continued under the TV Jones brand, made in the same factory. The model was revised in the following years. This one features "shoestring potato" inlays (the earlier Standard had dot inlays) and a non-vibrato tail.
This example has had the TV Jones P90 style pickups replaced - sacrilege... (but I still have the original pickups!). The GFS GF Tron Classic Lead pickups do look nice in matte black also, and they do sound good!
