This course builds upon the foundational knowledge of the various Rickenbacker Rose Morris export models that you acquired during your undergraduate studies.
Let’s begin our discussion by examining a unique topic: this vintage model 1998. Or is it a vintage model 345S? Who would like to volunteer to explain to the class what we’re looking at here? How do you properly identify a Rose Morris model vs. its domestic/American counterpart?
From @ronsvintageguitars:
The only certain way to identify this guitar as a 1998 exported to Rose Morris is to match its serial number to the Electro-String shipping records. Absent that, one clue that it is a 1998 is if its original case has a small metal “Rickenbacker” badge on the handle side.
