This course builds upon the foundational knowledge of Rickenbacker export models that you acquired during your undergraduate studies. This includes models such as the 1993, 1997, 1998, and 1999.
Let’s begin our discussion by examining a unique topic: this export guitar. Who would like to volunteer to explain to the class what we’re looking at here? What model is this, and what market was it for?
From @high.numbers:
360S/12 originally intended for the English market with a Rose Morris model designation of 3262, which was instead exported to a distributor in Italy (Saporetti e Cappelli) after a disagreement between Electro String and Rose Morris Ltd. Upon arrival in Italy, this example and perhaps up to half of that batch were converted to 6-string configuration with black resin inserts to the headstock octave channels and edges). Did I miss anything?
