Rickenbacker Autumnglo

Autumnglo is one of Rickenbacker’s most distinctive vintage-era finishes. Its warm brown sunburst, often shifting subtly toward red at the edges, gives instruments a rich and understated look. Introduced in the late 1960s and seen through much of the 1970s, Autumnglo appeared on a variety of Rickenbacker guitars and basses, with occasional reappearances in later years. The finish pairs especially well with Rickenbacker’s maple construction, where the translucent burst allows hints of the wood grain to show through. The result is a warm, classic aesthetic that feels closely tied to the vintage era of the brand.
