Rickenbacker Cloverfield Green

Cloverfield Green is one of the rarest and most visually striking early Rickenbacker finishes. Its deep metallic green, with a subtle shimmer, stands apart from anything else the company produced. The finish appeared only briefly between 1954 and 1957, on the earliest Combo-era instruments during the transition from the Electro String period into the F.C. Hall years. Very few instruments left the factory in this color, and surviving examples are exceptionally scarce today. Unlike many classic Rickenbacker finishes, Cloverfield Green was never revived or reissued, making original instruments the only way to experience it. When one surfaces, it immediately draws the attention of serious collectors.
